Liz Makes

In the past several years, I have thrown myself into a lot of crafty activities. First and foremost I consider myself a crocheter, but I have branched out to knitting, jewelry making, perler beads, scarves… Having a creative outlet is so important for me, and being able to come up with something where there was nothing is always a little bit like magic.

happy to finish this blanket at last

Pillow case covers

This is just a simple, single-crochet project to make some pillow covers for my home. It was fun and great practice. I am a pro at the single crochet now, and I have comfy pillows. Win/win.

Crochet Baby Blanket

I finished this at the beginning of the quarantine period for the pandemic, 2020. I used Bernat Baby Blanket yarn and I use this blanket every night for sleeping.

Knitted twist headband

Super fun project, purl slip stitch and regular knit stitch alternating. It’s stretchy and will be warm over my ears this winter. The twist hides the seam.

Fall-themed crochet coasters

These are fun little coasters that take no time at all and helped me practice the idea of going in a circle. I used single and double crochet stitches and the slip stitch.
