It wasn’t underwhelming, and it wasn’t overwhelming . . . Maybe it was just whelming.

I had an eventful month. Made some decisions. Had some beer. Made and ate some delicious food with Soph and the Architect. I cuddled several kitties and several doggies and managed to not get murdered by a particularly feisty rooster. My work/life balance is getting better, I think. My chosen career makes me happy. I learn something new every day. I used an Instant Pot for the first time. I made two cheesecakes. I made progress on the baby blanket I’m knitting for my friends and their little one (he was born in October, I’m Extremely Late with it).
All of this has nothing to do with NaNoWriMo.

What happened in November in regards to my writing? Some stuff! I got a chapter almost done and did a lot of planning. I have the rest of the book pretty much plotted out, and I could feasibly have it done by my birthday in February. (What a great present to myself: an editing nightmare! Yay!)
Life is busy. I’m happy I got so much done and started carving out a routine for myself. And I’m playing Final Fantasy XIV again. That always gives me a sense of calm. (Nerd alert!)
So it goes!
