Inspiration, October 10

Third installment in the architecture series . . . I’m on a roll apparently.

This strikes me as a nice, quaint little village on the verge of winter. Something about it is . . . relaxing. The lone lamp post has always held significance for me. It’s the Lantern that welcomes Lucy to Narnia from the land of Spare Oom. It’s the light post that I passed every day walking to class when I was getting my master’s degree. The beginning of an adventure, a welcoming home.

If I put a village like this in my book . . . something will have to go very wrong here.

I'm a writer living and working in Cincinnati, OH. I've been writing for ages and ages. Somehow now I'm actually getting someone to pay me to do it.
