Drum roll, please . . .
TM Keesling and I just released our third issue of NEAT., the Midwestern literary journal we’ve been slaving over (in a good way). This winter issue is full of the three P’s: poetry, prose, and photography (but holy cow especially poetry). TM and I had an exchange this morning over Facebook messages that went something like this:
Me: I’m 100000000% proud of us.
TM: meeee tooooo :)
Needless to say, we’re freaking excited.
I’m also pumped to announce that I interviewed my wonderful friend Erica Barnes (“The Runaway”) for a new bit of content we’re trying out. TM and I each picked an author to interview for the website, and both writers are awesome, interesting people. I’m especially excited about Erica’s take on fanfiction — please hold judgment until you read her answer. It’s articulate and everything I’ve been trying to puzzle out in my own head for quite a while now.
Experience our beautiful third issue here, and don’t forget to check out our new call for submissions while you’re there.
